knowing the median voter, they likely consider foreign policy to be different than wars

I think it is apt to use this line from MLK's I've been to the mountain top speech "whenever men and women straighten their backs up, they are going somewhere, because a man can't ride your back unless it is bent."

We keep our backs straight and we shall march through this dark tunnel

You will get Arleigh-Burke Flt. X and you will be happy

It's also keen to point out that WWI broke out because of a weird reason, the shooting of an Archduke.

And most critically, Austria waiting a month to actually respond and declare war.

Really into four parts if you want to be quite technical. West Germany was only a thing after 1948

Also MLK's "I've been to the mountain top" speech bc the line "and whenever men and women straighten their backs up, they are going somewhere, because a man can't ride your back unless it is bent" goes really hard

"but... but... my wunderwaffe! The first jet fighter! Really big railway guns! Bismarck!" Screeches the Wehraboo

*little did the Wehraboo know that the jet fighter's engine was a technical dead end, and that the Italians had scarier battleships

They will say literally anything about why Germany lost besides the truth. (That they actually kinda sucked at the whole waging a war thing)

I am not well read on the subject but I do wonder if the Allied way was in some ways routed as a reaction to WWI where very few of the aces actually lived to the end of the war?

Oh I haven't played DCS in ages, but SEAD was one of the few things I was remotely useful at. The HARM makes it a bit easier but I want to get the F-4 for the Shrike and do some vintage... and well especially once Super Sabre is released

Them: "Our skull represents [insert schizo rant about some neo-pagan white supremesistt nonsense"

Me: "Our crudely drawn devil standing on an airplane means fuck you we see that panzer division you are trying to hide."

SEAD missions are a load of fun in DCS, can confirm

The wildcat isn't great, but honestly a lot comes down to that the zero pilots tend to have way, way more experience than the wildcat pilots iirc
