A first UK-wide assessment shows natural flood management (#NFM) can cut fluvial flood damages by tens of millions of pounds by 2050s. When targeted effectively and combined with other measures, NFM reduces peak flows and strengthens #ClimateResilience across GB.

#GlobalCarbonBudget 2025 📈

Global fossil fuel CO2 emissions are projected to rise by 1.1% in 2025, reaching a record 38.1 billion tonnes. The remaining #CarbonBudget for limiting warming to 1.5 degrees C (170 billion tonnes of CO2) could be used up before 2030.
