Many of the emergencies medics are responding to have to do with hypothermia and frostbite.
IEMS: Calls for cold emergencies have nearly doubled compared to this time last year
From Jan. 1 to Jan. 15 last year, medics received 71 calls for cold related emergencies. This year, there have been 134 calls.
