Depending on which website you look at Feeding America uses between 82-98% of their revenue to actually feed people. Either way that’s really good.

I get your point about CEO pay but this isn’t a good example.

I disagree on the first premise. Democrats had leverage. Republicans were splintering as voters rightfully blamed them for the shutdown.

Senate Democrats get absolutely nothing in return except the promise for a meaningless vote on ACA subsidies in the Senate only.
