Another proof came in this morning. We noticed that the spine's color ever so slightly diverges from the rest of the cover. A wee little defect, but Art Woman is on it! #WritingCommunity#amwriting#writer
We got the proof at about 10am and found a few problems. Fixed. And, by fiddling with the margins a bit and moving page numbers to the top margin, we were able to cut the number of printed pages by a surprising amount.
Nigel Insole, sub-agent third class of MI6 and working on floor -6, forgot to change the ribbon on the teletype and thus nobody saw that the false-flag cable from Moscow which said "bombing commences is 10 minutes". Even HE didn't know he'd saved the world.
Revision cycle and eProofing from IngramSpark takes two or three days. The wait is *interminable* but it does give me a chance to think of new wonderfully awful predicaments for the people of Marion, wheee!
Okay, I snuck in three recipes at the back of the book. I mean, half the action seems to take place in Dottie's Diner, it just makes sense there'd be recipes from the place, right?
