imo xiv and other MSQ-oriented games got popular and people lost sight of what WoW story did well because it did it quietly. I feel like people looked at big emotional XIV quests and went "why isn't WoW doing that"

I'm an absolute fiend for everything fel and demon related in the setting and this book feels like it was made for me specifically.

Also TWW failed to make me care about Alleria in the slightest but the book has reversed course on that. I hope Midnight can follow up on this.
