It has become ever more apparent that to our president the rule of law is but an impediment to his policy goals… Why can’t more Republicans just admit they support fascism?

The terms "Legal" and "Illegal" are effectively meaningless here. They won't face consequences or justice. Moral and Immoral are still valid though.

I’m feeling resigned to it all these days. It feels more likely than not that real elections are over in the US.
I do have a sliver of hope that CA/WA/NY might actually secede if it gets wild enough.
