While Blizzard did the right thing with Renzik, they likely know there'd be serious blowback if he were recast. They employ some big names Jim Cummings and it would be damaging and a travesty to lose those VAs.

To me, that shot of K'aresh looks like it could be a portal sucking debris into it, with darker remnants of the planet's crust encircling it. Maybe we're going into the void itself, which would ti me makes more sense as a setting than K'aresh.

I’m guessing they did this because players have stockpiled a lot of badges. It was very easy to get them during the Anniversary, and still is by farming one TW dungeon on alts for an easy 200
