Using genAI for concept art is so fucking stupid because like... that's where you get the cool shit. Thats the blue sky phase where artists make pieces of art that will be seen by a teenager later and change their life forever. Why would you want to start from mediocre. Why would you do that.

Just because I'm the writer/director of TADC doesn't mean I deserve all the credit for everything. There MANY times when a board artist or an animator will come up with a detail or shot that elevate the themes/characterization in a way I didn't even think of, and I'm like "fuuuuuck that's genius..."

Got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and one of the first things I had said to my mom was “I want to watch digital circus” and that’s what we did when I got home. We watched all five episodes and it was kind of wild to watch slightly under anesthesia.
