Also, having unlocked the full non tax payer MLE, it’s basically Mike + 32FRP for CJ AND whoever they pick up for $14.1m.

Yeah… you can’t worry about preserving the 30s when you have the best player in the world, after Jokic is not the next 5 years. Getting off MPJ (as deeply as he is loved and respected) gives much needed flexibility, gives this team room to sign depth and unlocks a CB extension.
