Also, that when I had cancer I didn’t change hospitals when I was treated badly by my doctor because I was afraid there would be an insurance problem and my chemotherapy would be disrupted. This is what qualifies as “good” in the United States.

I would have said my insurance at my last job was good, because in the context of the US health system I knew I had it better than most. If asked, I would also have said I spent the last thirty years making my (often unhappy) job and other life choices based largely on health insurance.
