I've been proud to work for local governments for over 10 yrs now because I strongly believe that local govts have the biggest impact on our day-to-day lives.
Unless you have someone in a position of authority (or pseudo-authority) who loves bureaucracy more than helping people. What a nightmare.

Just learning that there's some discussion started that could create a CPA Competency-Based Experience Pathway, allowing a CPA candidate to utilize Experience in lieu of a Masters degree. If this becomes reality, I would absolutely get my CPA. The cost of a Masters is a big deterrent for me.
