I think this is an outgrowth of over-reach (real and/or perceived) by some state and local governments. Some measures destroyed public trust and buy-in to effective practices. That is VERY unfortunate; some future pandemic may be far more deadly in fact than Covid-19 turned out to be.

I suspect it is an inflated moralism, stigmatizing the disease for the most obvious ways it is spread - and people in our government assuming they are "better than that." I am a Confessional Christian, AND I am shocked and saddened by that disease for ALL that it affects; support efforts to end it!

And how many is MANY? 3?
Did thry listen as little as DJT did? Their message was comparable to saying: "Do not speed in school zones."
I.e. they were reminding people what the law IS and responsible behavior no matter what pressure there is to violate law.
They didn't say, "Break the law."

Hasn't she been through enough? I can't imagine what it is like to be made to mourn with constant and ongoing attention. From ardent admirers and detractors alike.

Great, thank you. Very helpful information.

Naturally, while our bodies are very similar, allowing drugs and vaccines to be developed and be effective, everyone is wonderfully unique and a few people may have different reactions to something that is safe for 99.999% of population.

I get, agree vaccines do not cause autism. However, what if any risks exist in grouping many childhood vaccinations together? That is, would it be better to get your children's shots spread out over multiple visits? (Not meaning to load Qn. If grouping them is very safe, want to know that, too).

Rep Crow and colleagues: whatever topics and policy areas I may agree or disagree with you about, I agree with you and appreciate you here. Your message was clear, on point and openly LAWFUL. Thank you for the encouragement to the troops to do what is RIGHT.

What gets me is how little people have ACTUALLY LISTENED to the video on orders. They say to not follow ILLEGAL orders. Not disregard all orders, or orders they "don't like." But unlawful ones.

True, there may well be consequences from people who insist THEIR orders are necessarily lawful. #LeSigh

I agree it shouldn't be grounds for dismissal.

I do not understand appointing him Sec HHS. I have plenty of OPINIONS, more than I have medical knowledge tbh. So does...that guy over there. Can we be Asst. Sec's? Or do we need money, name and videos?

I do not think that this firing is just if it singled him out.
e.g. if policy of No flags but US flag" was in place, was it enforced toward others?

I am Christian and believe homosexuality to be wrong.
Yet, I work with many people I would likely not socialize with, and they're great at their jobs!
