Tumamoc Hill, home to the Desert Laboratory, is a site of 4,000 years of human use, 115+ years of science, and over 1,000 people visiting a day.
Desert Laboratory Director Elise Gornish welcomed the UA Senior Vice President for Research and Partnerships and the Director of the Arizona Institute of Resilience today to talk about research and outreach directions and development at the lab!

Local Girl Scout troop trying out our shoe cleaner at the bottom of the hill. The shoe cleaner assists in removing invasive plant seeds from shoes to restrict movement of weeds on Tumamoc!
