Tinned fish and crackers

One of my close childhood friends had a fig tree in his back yard.
I hooked an umbrella or a cane handle over one of the branches to swing from, and promptly fell off backward, cutting the back of my head on the corner of a nearby camper. I still have the dent and scar 35 years later.

Ahh, understood. I like to use it in stews and curries as well.
It can also be reduced and frozen for easy bursts of flavor / thickener.

I've been using it to make fondant potatoes. Takes about 50 minutes, 15-20 of that active.

I _do_ need a set of decent pint glasses..

I am so incredibly excited for this, can't wait to get my grubby little hands on these books!
