i like to have parties and eat cake with my friends and celebrate the delicate intimacies of life that make it worthwhile

even back when i was only playing acoustic ive had this problem. i would buy new elixirs like once every 3 months becasue they broke that often on me, but the fucking set of .09 electric dadarrios i threw on it becasue its what i had at the time to use has lasted for YEARS

it sucks because elixir has had my business ever since i started playing and i think they genuinely do make the best sounding strings on the planet for either guitar OR bass, but goddamn have i just been cursed to always getting bum packs of strings from them

guitar strings breaking are one thing, whatever, but on two separate occasions now i have had their bass strings break on me on a set lasting less than a year
