what a truly weird time to work for the government

I started book two of this series today and somehow find myself in a similar situation (there was no way to see this coming). Lets see if I get to bed before 6am tonight.

Some things worth living for this week - the cutest little boy dog, coffee and a smutty book, dinner and reality TV at a friends house, a playmat full of pigeons.

Donald Trump’s attacks on birthright citizenship and the 14th Amendment are unpatriotic, unconstitutional, and will weaken our country. Birthright citizenship is a cornerstone of our democracy, and undermining it makes us less strong, and less united.

The same people having a temper tantrum over DEI just confirmed the least qualified Secretary of Defense in US history because Trump liked him on TV.

Elon Musk is a Nazi. He supports extremist groups in Europe with Nazi ideology. He’s from an apartheid state.

The Washington Post can try and cover for him. The New York Times can try and cover for him. The ADL can try and cover for him but Elon Musk is a Nazi. And those who cover are sympathizers.

I’m kind of jealous that my mom had all our memories in years of photo albums. I have a weird mixture of deactivated MySpace and Facebook and Instagram accounts spanning years, many of which I have no access to.
