In 2025, Conor returned to UCD to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Human Resource Management and Employment Relations Department, where he presented awards in memory of his father, the department's founder, Professor Brian J. Hillery.

London-based Hillery has been promoted from Deputy CEO of the region, a post he took up last year, and will now co-lead the division with Matthieu Wiltz, while retaining his role as Head of Investment Banking in EMEA.

A graduate of UCD Lochlann Quinn School of Business, Mr Hillery completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree before training as a chartered accountant with KPMG.
