I realise that star trek academy is for a new, maybe new and feckless towards sci fi but for us OG that’s been carrying with us like a space passport I’m in two minds about it, it currently feels like what SEO thinks it should use as an ai script — it was ok only so far, just about still trek.. .

just a thought for all those effected by the verizon outage today. the first company to offer some kind of load balanced multi-gig multi-honed fibre/satellite backup package is going to win big. why does that not exist, would kinda take the wind out of the sails of ddos script kiddies a little ;)

more and more I’m realising that your life of solitude is near on impossible in the future world we are going into, even the countryside and mountain side is gonna be covered in hyper specific shipping containers with round the clock drone systems doing hyper vigilance things, more noise!

playing with getlate.dev now. i've got a scheduler that i vibe coded myself that works with 𝕏 but i think it's gonna be easier to build in support for getlate for the 12 platforms, needs a bunch more thought but i think it can work out pretty nice.

just had to make a few changes, i was NOT paying $45 to renew my initial domain with bluesky when it was initally dirt cheap, so many domains must get wasted due to INSANE costs they try to get you on the next year. that WORLD has moved on bruh! :)

are you really gonna make me choose between using ai tools and not having ssd drives and memory. it’s insane to me that the two have become so bonded together, i mean i understand “demand” is demand but like, unless production ramps up massively these prices ain’t changing soon right?

i never saw the memory and hard drive thing coming, is it really going to come down to real life arc raiders for topside parts? i mean, a 4tb sandisk old style drive i needed that is like sata III 6gb/s internal sdd is now double the price, it’s crazy, wish i would have bought it three months ago

easy dub, got the video out to the client on boxing day. wanted to be done with that and sent away before anything came back about it, at least now i can fix it going into the new year. looking forward to changing all the gear this year, i’ve had five good years out of this m1 chipset! :)
