I missed my post for the seventh night of Hanukkah, so I am doing it this morning. For the seventh night, prayers focus on themes of rededication, miracles, and letting your inner light shine for the world. To my friends and family who celebrate, may your faith sustain you now and forever.

Use the sixth light as a prompt for a short meditation or prayer, often centered on the day's theme, thanking God for love, provision, or strength as you see the lights grow brighter.

A few weeks back, Hope successfully defended her dissertation. We celebrated her and her achievements. I didn't post anything at the time as she wanted to complete the typical follow-up to-dos following a dissertation defense. Today is her commencement. Congratulations, my friend.

As you light the fifth candle, may your home be filled with warmth, joy, and the love of family and friends. May the light of the menorah bring you peace and happiness, and may each flame remind you of the miracles and blessings in your life. Chag Sameach!

On the fourth night of Hanukkah, our friends and family members of the Jewish faith recall the miracle of the oil that lasted for eight days and eight nights. This miracle is a testament to the power of faith, resilience, and enduring triumph of light over darkness.

On this third night of Hanukkah, the candle signifies good deeds, encouraging engagement in acts of kindness and generosity and reinforcing the importance of helping others in the community. Be kind and open minded, my friends.

On this second night of Hanukkah, I wish my friends and colleagues and their families all the joy that comes from being in a faith community that celebrates bringing light in to the darkness.

On this first night of Hanukkah, may God watch over all that celebrate and provide support and care from those who are limited in understanding anything different from themselves. ✡️🕎
