i meant like how fast the attacks are coming out lmao, there is just a massive pause between every action in this i dont think hitstop is really comparable when thats like a few frames

i feel like light novels are a big part of the problem since they usually have a separate illustrator, and the full page illustrations miss out on a lot of what makes manga look interesting imo. there's just so much less variation in them and everything is a light novel adaptation now bc fuck you
