Well, having articulated yesterday's complaint, I'm thinking "maybe it isn't that bad" and "everything is what you make of it".

The anti-AI sentiment here really does grate, though. IMHO if you aren't actively exploring how AI can help you reach your goals, you're just not very serious about them.

I keep thinking about getting more involved with Bluesky, and the people I know here are great. But anytime I click on anything outside of that, I'm overwhelmed by oceans of cynical, whiny-ass negativity. It's like a bottomless pit of failure. Just Cannot Handle It.

This "de-extinction" of the dire wolf is, hands down, the biggest failure of science journalism I have ever seen. And that's saying a lot.
