In addition, my favorite online activity is lazy social event organizing. The ability of Facebook to create, inform and track events is unbeaten by any competitor. That said, I am aware that other options exist - I just need to be super active about it. Time will tell.

As evident by this being the third post in a row - I am ill prepared to keep my commentary short. I have a write up predicting the future but it is significantly longer than the 240 character limit. Even my intended commentary is longer. This is what made Twitter impossible, and may doom my BlueSky.

In light of Zuckerberg's recent turn against fact checking on Facebook, and power of masculinity screed on Joe Rogan's podcast, I find it hard to continue to use the platform. That said there are two aspects of FB that make it vital for my lifestyle.

I am still trying to come up with a valid reason to use this space. Ultimately, I created this account because it seemed like a good show of support for the platform that seems like the chosen home of the opposition to the conservative (or rather illiberal) turn for the nation.
