Solar & Stellar Seismology Forum: a series of online webinars
Dear colleagues, I hope this message finds you well. Some of you may remember the webinar series on “Effects of Coronal Heating/Cooling on MHD Waves” that we ran from 2021 to 2023. It brought together researchers across institutions and career stages and proved to be a very effective platform for open and informal scientific discussions: and a smaller-scale webinar, "Open Warwick-Weihai Webinar on MHD Seismology” which was also a popular activity during covid and post-covid times:

Call for Abstracts: COSPAR-26 D1.2 — Science with Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP)
Abstract submission for COSPAR 2026 is now open, including Session D1.2 which we are organizing. Abstract: NASA’s new Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) mission, launched on September 24th 2025 to the Earth-Sun L1 point, employs a payload of 10 instruments to study the interstellar medium, size and shape of the outer heliosphere, particle acceleration throughout the heliosphere, and how variability of the Sun and solar wind in the inner heliosphere projects outwards and ultimately affects the conditions in the outer heliosphere and beyond into the very local interstellar medium.
