I finished with a platformer from the video by constref, which is really great from an educational perspective, with animations, physics, collisions, enemies and bullets.... but the program structure is a mess: 1000 lines of code and a long game loop update.

The slime is just patrolling, the chicken tries to jump on the head of the player when the player is nearby.
Until now - the slime and the chicken are not causing any damage yet.

In the game engine:
- CollisionSystem detects collision of two entities,
- emits a CollisionEvent over the EventBus,
- DamageSystem is subscribed to these events,
- checks who collided,
- and reduces the health of the enemy in the ECS.
