The same monster that helps summon Drill Warrior to great success, Quickdraw Synchron, can also be used to summon this card. Because of that, it sees play as a toolbox option in any deck that uses Quickdraw. In my experience with Edison, it actually does come up from time to time!

There are many incredible games in this world, from classic titles to indie experiences to modern AAA bombshells. So many great games that it’s impossible to experience then all in one lifetime, so why spend time with this game over any of those games?

At least Droll’s getting hit, thank fuck, but I worry their newly stated need to “not let decks insulate their first turn” is incongruent with the previously stated design goal of focusing less on preventive play and more on reactive play. Feels like the opposite of what was promised gameplay-wise.
