Referenced an anime screenshot, some parts of the manga, and tried to do my own drawings of her for practice. Definitely want to do more practice with these markers.

Thank you so much! ☺️✨ I like adding some shading with the colored pencil and seeing the texture it makes on the paper.

I wanted to practice more watercolor since I feel like it’s a relaxing medium for me to work with, but I also used color pencils, a bit of acrylic, graphite pencil, and fine liners. I like throwing a bunch of mediums at a piece to get the results I want. 😂

Also I was thinking of doing some cross hatching which looked cool, but for the kind of line art I was going for I opted out. Also because I didn’t want to mess it up. 😂

I love the chapter 74 cover page so much. 😭💕 Wasn’t sure about the tassel colors, but for some reason I thought a tuscan red would be an interesting choice, but wanted to stick to his usual color palette, even though it’s nowhere close to what I did plan out digitally. 😭

Phos is probably one of my all time favorite main characters. Seeing their change in character over the course of the series was heartbreaking and I’m happy to see them finally at rest after all their struggles and changes. I’m going to miss them and the series as a whole. 😭💔

I look forward to seeing what Haruko Ichikawa cooks up next and I’m sure it’ll be amazing! ✨She deserves some rest for making a series I’ll never forget. And now I await another season of the anime and my life will be complete. 😂

I haven’t been with this series since the very beginning, but I’m glad I could pick up the series even with the hiatuses which was definitely an experience to go though. 😭 But it was worth it to experience this beautiful world, the characters who inhabit it, and their journeys.

I wanted to draw the different versions of Phos showing reflections of their journey and their changes physically and mentally. I’m overall happy with the piece since as much as I love this series I only drew some very old fan art back in 2020 that I’m too embarrassed to show. 😂
