Even by your count, that's still a significant enough of a number to say the stock market still matters. After all, Dems have a much higher percentage of college educated folks who probably work jobs that offer 401k or pensions vs Republicans.

401k mutual fund and Pension fund participants are certainly helped when the stock market rises though.
