I think people often conflate "Hard and pretty frequently not a barrel of monkeys" with "It fucking sucks." Which, it's understandable why they would make that conflation, but it's also extremely rewarding (and, not at all infrequently, quite a lot of fun), so it doesn't remotely suck.

I'm sorry, but you can't exclude Davenport, Bettendorf, and St. Louis from the Midwest. The edge cases for the western limits of the Midwest are KCK, Omaha, and Fargo.

The eastern limits are Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Southern limits are the Ohio River and Northern the Great Lakes/Canada.
