It's been an incredible year of progress seeing our new School of Social Work building rise! As part of the green building design, 42 geo-exchange wells were drilled, totaling 10 miles of piping! Opening in late summer 2027!

Gabrielle Olibris, @umaryland.edu, ACS-IMPACT Scholar, worked with @medschool.umaryland.edu’s Dr. Aditi Banerjee to repurpose BNPP-433.3 Beta, an existing prostate cancer drug, to target pediatric brain cancer medulloblastoma. Her goal: safer, more effective treatments for kids.
