L'orage orange frappe avec des taxes douanières. Trump met en œuvre exactement ce que Zemmour et Le Pen prônent depuis des années. Prendront-ils enfin des notes sur ses effets réels sur l’économie ?

I thought firing federal workers was supposed to reduce the deficit. But if President Musk just redistributes the "savings" (which isn’t how federal spending works) as a so-called dividend on an unlikely timeline, the deficit won’t shrink. So what’s the point?

House of the Vettii at the Pompeii archeological site. It’s an incredibly well preserved Roman home.

Mount Vesuvius, an active volcano, still releases sulfurous steam from its caldera today.

Visible from many spots around the Bay of Naples, it’s especially haunting when viewed from Pompeii or Herculaneum. The top of the volcano collapsed during the infamous 79 AD eruption, forming the caldera.

Herculanum is an incredibly well preserved site. Imagine walking into a home (solid) and seeing the bed on which someone slept nearly 2,000 years ago!

The gritty, bustling streets of Naples hum with honking cars and Vespas, zipping past even when you have the right of way. Trash lines the alleys, and signs and panels are bleached from the sun-scorched summers. It’s a gorgeous city, once you get to take it all in.
