Meet Tribble. He joins our family as a rescue out of the local industrial park. He's adjusting to life on easy street, but not ready for cuddles.
He's my 2026 love project. I hope by this time next year he's snuggly. Wish us luck and have a great 2026 yourself!

2 guys installed new windows at my house yesterday. Only 1 spoke English. I asked where they are from.
"I'm from Russia and he's from Ukraine," he says
"That's interesting at this time in history," I said
"Yes, but this is Canada and in Canada everyone is good," he says

I'm concerned that life in N. Amer is like this lasagna. Lots of messy, indistinguishable layers. So far, it's holding together, but I fear it's on the verge of flying apart.
