That act of trying to understand the broken. I'm not trying to trauma dump or anything but we've gone through such a devoid period of our life where we don't even know who's actually real and whose just societal obligations. I cannot thank tou enough for this. Just seeing that there are other people struggling in anyway similar to myself is really meaningful. I still don't if I'm a system yet—and when it could just be a compartmentalized psyche its so easy to feel like I'm faking it—but even through that I'm trying (½)

💙we struggle a lot being a system whose original host never really got to be a person. on top of that we masked so long that finding our own identity is hard. It hurts knowing our old host never got to be someone, we still keep on finding ourselves so at least the time no longer feels wasted.
