This year’s keynote speaker is Nicola Benedetti, a Grammy Award-winning violinist who serves as the Director of the Edinburgh International Festival and the Founder of The Benedetti Foundation.

5/5: As Director of the Pediatric Nephrology Research Program, Dr. Modi leads a collaborative research team, actively mentors faculty and fellows, and serves on national committees and editorial boards.

4/5: Since joining our department in 2018, he has led and contributed to numerous multi-center, federally funded studies and innovative projects—including launching a mobile health application for improved data collection.

3/5: Dr. Modi is an accomplished clinician-scientist and health services researcher whose efforts have been recognized on a national level. His research focuses on epidemiology, health care delivery, Medicaid policy, and innovative data science to improve outcomes for children with CKD.

2/5: Dr. Modi was recently honored at the Department of Pediatrics 2025 Chair's Awards as the Early Career Research Award recipient. This award recognizes an Instructor or Assistant Professor on any track with high quality scholarship and substantive research accomplishments.
