Motivating #CSxFE25 ideas:
-Be a luck bringer to kids who thrive when they have supportive adults and structures
-Hope for child wellbeing calls for community work in a theory of child wellbeing in the US and policies, politics, conditions for children’s rights (not billionaires and bombs)

Starting #CSxFE25 with Native singing and drumming and land acknowledgement. While happy for this recognition, I look forward to extending this centering of land and first peoples throughout entire conferences and events, not just a checkbox. We are still here!

Yesterday was my birthday and I spent it delivering thank you cards to those who helped at my brother’s funeral. Taking time to connect supported me in my grief, in remembering him, and allowing myself time to move forward slowly.

Just checked in a citizen of Aotearoa moving to Canada due to 8k layoff of government workers due to new conservative administration. I had no idea they laid people off. Wished him luck and told him to avoid the US too cuz same bro, same.

Not just another #Hawaii #rainbow to me. I see signs of my brother reaching out after my tearful morning. Grief is still heavy. Is there a #griefsky ?
