I hope the promise of “donating to conservation” was true in some small way.

Goldberg’s been paid well by WWE, but never booked particularly well (except for most of that Brock feud upon returning).
Always a WCW guy and they don’t like those there.

I don’t want to count my chickens before they hatch, but I also have a new agenda for Grand Slam…

But AEW has a rare opportunity to recapture the magic of Hangman/Omega with Hangman/Mox. That’s massive.

Why? Because fans are sooooo eager for him to champ again. Outside of Daniel Bryan, when has that occurred for a 2nd reign, much less after a 6 month 1st reign?

Plus, AitA was top tier madness and, at minimum, the second best one they’ve ever done, if not THE best.
Hats off to everyone on an outstanding night.

I would throw a lot of dollars down the money pit for that.

FTR as good guys with no titles
Or
FTR as bad guys with all the titles
I’m wanting gold on these boys by any means necessary. Even if they have to murder an old friend to do so.

Which is difficult to get in 2025. And honestly, I don’t think we’ve had a champ we more this eager to have lose since Omega/Hanger.

I dropped out of cable the minute AEW became available on MAX. And I have a few friends who stopped watching simply because they didn’t have cable anymore so checks out.

All In shouldn’t be the only place the title can change hands, but building to a big change there isn’t a bad thing. It’s not like WM39 when you knew Cody wouldn’t finish the story until WM40 (even then, it almost didn’t).

I know people don’t want to wait another few months, but the crowd will be fervent at All In. I’m assuming that’s where this all has been heading all along.
And Omega/Bailey/Ricky was worth my $50 alone.

People wanted Swerve to win. He didn’t. People are upset.
We can intellectualize all we want, but I think they’re reacting the exact way AEW wants. Business is up so evidently they’re not tuning out.
And now the eventual winner against Mox is murky af.
