In the first vampire the masquerade bloodlines I played a brawler because I couldn't be arsed to figure out guns. It was definitely difficult but I love bashing my head against the wall. And then the last boss was a giant bat and I ran out of bullets and rage quit.

Because visual novels might be the only games with a canon love interest. In the rest of them it's kinda up to the player.
