For my money, the best current ongoing Marvel book is Ryan North’s Fantastic Four. Marvel being Marvel, they renumbered it when the movie came out, so there’s two Ryan North FF #1s, but it’s the same run. Vol 7 and Vol 8.
The new G.Willow Wilson Black Cat series is also worth a look!

Oh yeah. I’ve thought for years that our entire industry needs to SLOW THE FUCK DOWN and focus on quality and correctness, but that falls on deaf management ears.

In complete transparency, I started calling myself a software engineer instead of a programmer or developer because in my 20s, I read a study that salaries for 'Software Engineer' were notably higher despite being the same job. And sure, no reason to not embrace that!

They talked about it when they were on Colbert a few weeks back, apparantly there are a few parts of the dialogue that just work better if you pronounce it that way. I’m sure the interview is trivially easy to find, and I’ll never explain it as well.
