You are most welcome. There is the bit from The Velveteen Rabbit that I have remembered since childhood. It seems to become more relevant as I grow older...

I think perhaps because how few people actually prioritize it. Just like drinking enough water. Plus our modern life is way too hectic, filled with screens . I ease into sleep, turn lights down low, put on soothing music and become still. Then into bed, which is for sleeping.

Welcome to my world friend. It is one of the things about growing old that is most challenging...the longer you live the more people that you know and love will die. Absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder, and as you mention you get to a point where the smallest things can make you weepy.

Wow, that IS a great holly tree! We only have the smaller shrubby American version here, would love to meet such a tree!

And it would seem that one must stop running in order to do so.

Thank you. It is a drawing done by an artist I worked with years ago. I was doing the bulk food at a natural food store at the time, and had some ties with Krampus.

Wow, that sucks. Kinda surprised that is even a possibility in such a place with the value of the collection there. Like there should be fail safe systems in place. Guess not.

Thank you, it was a bit cloudy this morning, which makes it easier for me to take pictures of the Moon. Quite lovely with all the fresh snow.

Thank you.

Sorry, not arguing, just ignorant.
December 6, 2025 at 11:45 PM
Interesting. So it just represents uselessness then? In some mostly forgotten "plant language" ?
December 6, 2025 at 11:33 PM
Uselessness...that is pretty sad, how can someone pretend to knowledge of the language of flowers and call any one of them useless?! To me, to call a plant useless is a declaration of ignorance.

Oh yeah!

Thank you, it always does. I have had many names, but one of my favorites was The Sound of Rain.
