I've said it before, and stand by it today: the moment your article/essay/whatever emits the word "I" or "me," that article/essay/whatever begins to suck. Only very rarely is this not the case. It is never the case for autobiographies.

Those of you who know me, know that I can be something of an aesthete when it comes to the clarity of the ice in my whisky. Clear is best and directional freezing is the only way to get there. Tried it with an off-brand stanley- type mug that I found in a hotel room, and the results were... decent!
