Can you see thru the smoke screen? Removing the tariffs won't bring the prices "back down to what they were before". Capitalist retail doesn't work that way.

My first mortgage started when I was about 40 yrs old. A "50 year" mortgage would have meant I would likely never actually own my home. Does this mean that the "American dream" is now to "buy it and flip it" instead of "own it"? Where is the pride of accomplishment in that? Money? NOT!

Trump has figured that he's got 4 years (or 3+) to make money and harm people that have "insulted" him. He doesn't give a damn what you think, feel, or have to endure. In his detestable mind, nothing and no one else matters except where they might aid him in the above stated goals.
