My "hob" (UK) has a boost setting. If you want the burner to get hotter quicker, you hit "boost" and it brings it up to temp faster, then remains at the preset temp.

Am I wrong to think that the only people who are impressed by "first woman to..." or "first black to..." or "first black woman to..." are white men? Blacks and women are not doing things and being successful to be better than white men, they are trying to be better themselves.

I have trouble understanding accountants. I'm related to few, generally family gatherings are pleasant enough. Except Easter, it's usually close to April 15th, and they're edgy then.
