saw a post on tumblr a while ago about n going back to unova and then just kind of stagnating/going backwards based on how in bw2 hes just in the ruins of plasmas castle & at the ferris wheel and really i dont think thats meant as anything but "heres some obvious places for the player to go see -

criticism of the pokemas n & arven event story regarding n is totally totally valid particularly because hes a character pretty heavily coded as autistic but genuinely when they ran it for the first time my immediate assumption was like. n is used to pokemon & how they communicate more than he is -

"can you say youre Truly Human and Love Your Pokemon if you cant pick a favorite?" is a really bizarre thing to say buuuut i can also absolutely see n being extremely sensitive about anything along those lines. getting him right in the insecurity

i think it is reasonable for him to not have heard of autism or if he has then its probably very minimal info. dont think the seven sages were too concerned with teaching him about developmental disorders

i think n would be really bad with spice. borderline "black pepper is too spicy". touya is good with moderate spice and touko would eat a carolina reaper

speaking of having liked isshu for forever & ever: outside of canon + pre-/early relationship post-canon, my Default way of seeing them in my brain has kinda aged with me. like if im thinking of established relationship isshu, theyre virtually always gonna be like mid-late twenties

youd think that after over a decade of me being too invested in this silly ship id actually have a fairly solid idea in my mind of how an ntouya reunion would go but absolutely not. theres like at minimum 50 different versions bouncing around in my brain
