Collapse The last time the Earth was there now there’s an empty space, the galaxy’s fallen baby tooth, and the moon feels faint, out of orbit, and winks at the sun, for she's now drawn to him. No one noticed the press slept through it, no one had time to sugarcoat the pill or fluff the duvet and pillow.

Doorway at night, in an anguished dream, when the heartbeat beat a small hour with the strength of a blacksmith and the skill of a goldsmith, I searched for an exit from that reverie, a missing bar, a rusty padlock, a lover’s loop, until I met the mirror, and I swear he said, you are the doorway.
