Talks-too-much ‘creative’ from London 🙃
Most of this kind of nonsense I just babble to my partner about, but every time I even mention Figma they just say 'Figma balls' and laugh to themselves for a few minutes

Question: can you think of a LESS aesthetically appealing sweetie?! (Because I can’t). Also are they good

Yeah I got the neilmed one but I absolutely loathe the sensation — I have an abnormally small nose/narrow nostrils and cleaning never got me that far but this decongestant makes me feel like my nose GOT BIGGER 🤯

This is what my doctor tells me to do, but no: hard dislike 😂

this is what other people have said to me, so I will make sure I save them for a special ‘treat’ (like: my flight tomorrow) — I figured there had to be a catch somewhere!

No drowsiness for me… yet… (though tbh on a flight just a lil drowsiness might be nice to take the edge off my anxiety…)

I just did my first ever spritz and I swear I can breathe better now through this cold than I can on a normal day 🤯

So here’s my question to you: do YOU take decongestants when you have a cold?! Has everyone else been doing this apart from me?! How has this passed me by?!
March 22, 2025 at 11:01 AM
I only found out today because I’ve got a bit of a cold and have to fly tomorrow (I will be masked and drugged up and it is not covid) and a friend was like ‘you should take a decongestant to stop your ears popping’, so I went to the pharmacy to ask what they meant

I feel like this is comparable with only finding out about painkillers in your 30s. I’ve just been suffering over here this entire time not knowing there was an incredibly easy, effective, fast and safe fix for this issue?!!???!

Of course, we’ll never know. But the fact that she did do it and now has stopped makes me wish I knew more of what was going on in that big soft head of hers. (Even if much of the time it seems like the answer is ‘very little’)

She seems to have totally stopped doing it now — we haven’t had one in months. We initially wondered if she was having nightmares, or perhaps that she was waking up and not knowing where she was and feeling frightened. We also wondered if she was pining for her old owner…
