(regarding the ghost, my dad did wear a lot of hawaiian shirts and this particular one had a mickey mouse, probably embroidered, on the chest, so this would track. he also definitely would make sure my mom knew he disapproved of the work she signed off on, tbh.)

screaming at the fact that i recorded an ig story on my mental health walk about how my mom thinks she saw my dad's ghost in a hawaiian shirt inspecting the bad job the guys who installed the water softener did on the siding and the auto-caption said "shawty workmanship" instead of "shoddy."

the harness on my boot broke just in time for portland and i think the weather's worn too thin to really do much to repair it and these are my daily shoes, so if i wind up wearing camp slippers or cowboy boots all weekend, mind your business.

working in the nonprofit space and seeing the ways ai is creeping in is so stressful because, like, one, these jobs already involve too many tasks and if execs start thinking a bunch can be offloaded to ai, oof, and two, i don't even wanna think about all the ways ai could potentially fuck my data.

the garage i park in for work is made for the teeniest, tiniest cars (like my own), but the thing is, most fresnans drive whatever they can afford that's closest to a tank
