My 40-year-old anime-loving self just pulled off a two-week character arc! 😂 Left: "Pre-Training Montage" me, basically a noodle. Right: "Post-Power-Up" me, where my arms are at least trying to be muscles. Pretty sure my body finally started taking my watch history seriously. 🤣
Today was hard. I pushed through it, with only a tiny emotional crack. Now that I'm off, I wanna go home...but I also don't wanna go home. I'm still learning to sit with pain, to feel it. When you feel things so intensely and the thing that you're feeling is so big. It's quite the combination.

One take away from when I was in therapy, healing my shit. I learned that I don't play to climb the ranks or win the trophy. I am the damn reason the game was built, and the obstacle they can't overcome. I'm not here to win the game...I am the god damn final boss! You're welcome!!!.

The only time I feel whole is when I'm putting in that work. Stabilizes my mood, my mental, and subsequently my core! The change in body is just an added lucky bonus!

So the biggest problem with Marvel Snap is that the gimmick decks are through the roof right now. It makes the game not fun. Either opponent hits gimmick that you can't beat or they forfeit. Obviously, you can tech to high heaven. But then you're ruining your synergies.
