Also, i will admit, as much as I hate what they did to the new seasons and wish we got better especially for the decepticons like Starscream, I am tempted to watch the rest of the show. At least it gives the fandom a lot of new fanfic potential in ways that tfp did.

And yeah, technically they have more than enough to make the show better and it's frustrating they don't bother to make it as good as they can. But I see more hate for Earthspark than TfPrime.

I don't know how Hot Rod or Thundercracker are in the series writing wise, but I doubt it's awful besides when you put it in context with their roles in plot. Cause it seems like Earthspark is suffering a similar thing TfPrime faced and because it's new, more people are complaining.

But overall there seems to be a lot of good pieces. Like characters behavior outside of plot pushing, such as Cosmos or Megatron. The Terrens & Chaos Terrans, the designs. Etc. It's just that it seems the autobots or "good guys" got better writing.

from what I have learned & heard, it seems like there are lots of good things in it, but it's writing took a dive & ruined a lot of the potential. Sorta like TFP or RID15. I don't like how a lot of the plot went, and a lot of the characters had their writing bastardized badly.

Thundercracker and Starscream give different forms of sexy. If you want the sexy that comes from the same energy as watching a fireman save someone or you from the fire broken building, that's Thundercracker. Starscream is sexy hut isn't THAT kind of sexy.

Tbh, I do also have ideas for KOSS that is plot wise a similar thing so I was tempted to mix it together in the sense of "trying to be nice to Star now somehow dating the bastard how did this happen?". Plus the idea of Knockout having a petty rivalry with a giant lizard is funny to me

Deadass this is pretty much a plot I have for a fic where Predaking tries to befriend starscream after coming to learn more stuff on his iPad time about Seekers lmao. Laserbeak the wingman. I have several memes for it made cause I couldn't make a straight plot at first.

Same! I always talked about in some replies on tumblr & bluesky that I love to hc seekers related to predacons. At least with tfp or tfp soup. The hcs people have for seeker behavior is way too similar to the predacons like Predaking to NOT make a connection

I think it depends on continuity. Tfp is the scrawny one. Like Zach Vermtech, or Astarion depending on if you think he'd have some muscle. G1 & Idw being on the thicker side, idw being more muscular.
