It was delightfully cozy, which was all fun and games until the traffic wound down and I started getting sleepy 😹

There was a couch on the side of the room my table was meant to be on and I figured I would avail myself 😹 the table is a regular 3 x 6 folding table

Thanks, Alan and I haven't stopped talking about this all morning 😹 what a great way to express the core theme of Venture Bros.

My go-to is Bannerless Games' KILLER RATINGS for a one shot experience that picks up like a party game and lets me sit back and goad my players into making bad choices in the name of compelling reality TV.

Oh yeah like I am not great with kids but they're largely blameless for the ways they tend to be aggravating. A grown man acting like a minimum-wage game store employee is ruining his life by telling him he can't buy our ENTIRE meagre allocation of TCG stock however? Fully responsible for himself.

We even put out a discard basket (with the intent of just...giving the cards away to kiddos or having them available for kids to play with) and they were like "nah" and throwing them in the bin. Intense combo of rage and like...secondhand embarrassment? to see a grown man acting like this 🤦‍♀️

I can't deal with the grown men who not only buy out all the TCG stock IMMEDIATELY at the LGS where I work but have full blown temper tantrums about availability+limits. Also, the horror and disgust I experience watching these guys rip open packs and *throw cards away* if they don't want them.
