Some, especially web developers, are surprised that I code my game in C. To clarify: it’s my first programming language, and while I’ve used others, I still adore it despite its flaws.

Just developed a collision response system that uses momentum! Have you noticed how slowly the car moves when hit by bullets? Now, heavy objects are harder to move 😃. Unfortunately, my physics knowledge got a bit rusty, so I spent a lot of time deriving a formula for calculating impulses 🥲.

Currently working on collision detection! I've implemented circle-circle colliders for the car, character, and bullets. Now, bullets can't pass through the car! Next up: implementing proper collision resolution using momentum calculations.
